Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy Races Online Ahead Of Its Frankfurt Debut

The Frankfurt news continues as the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy has made an early appearance, courtesy of Wheelsage.

Apparently based on the I-Pace concept, the I-Pace eTrophy is a high-performance electric vehicle which features an aggressive front fascia with large air intakes and a prominent splitter. The car has also been equipped with front fender vents, aerodynamic side skirts, and flush-mounted door handles.

The hardcore treatment continues at the rear as designers installed a massive rear wing, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and a large diffuser. Other notable features include a ventilated hood and lightweight alloy wheels which are backed up by a high-performance braking system.

The pictures give us a few glimpses of the cabin and we can see the I-Pace eTrophy will come with a roll cage and a mesh window net. There only appears to be one seat but we'll likely find out for sure tomorrow.

Performance specifications remain unknown but the original I-Pace concept had a 90 kWh battery and an electric motor that powered each axle. The motors produced a combined output of 400 hp (298 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque and allowed the concept to travel up to 500 km (310 miles) on a single charge.
