Porsche 911 GT2 RS Inspires Forza Motorsport 7 Controller

In preparation for the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport 7, SCUF Gaming have collaborated with Porsche and Turn 10 Studios to design an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller inspired by the 2018 911 GT2 RS.

The face of the limited-edition controller mixes silver with red and black accents just like the interior of the 700 hp-strong 911. At the rear, the controller includes a small Porsche badge and handles crafted from the same hand-stitched Alcantara as the car.

In a statement, chief executive and co-founder of SCUF Gaming, Duncan Ironmonger said “The SCUF FORZA ELITE features fine attention to detail, hand-built at our facilities in Atlanta where it is geared and tested for performance.

“In 2011, we challenged how controllers were built, creating a new market for high performance controllers by adding features to increase hand use and improve gameplay. This new limited-edition controller continues that tradition. It’s a tribute to fans of Forza, Porsche, and SCUF. It could not have become a reality without these three premium brands coming together.”

Sales of the controller will start on October 7 and two options will be available. The basic controller will retail for $299.95 and be limited to just 2,000 examples while for $365.95, gamers will be able to order the controller as a bundle with interchangeable parts and a 911 GT2 RS scale model. Just 500 bundles will be made.
