Subaru BRZ STI Sport Launches In Japan, Still No Turbo

Premiering at the Tokyo Motor Show is this, the Subaru BRZ STI Sport. Despite what the name may suggest, it doesn’t include a turbocharger.

However, this doesn’t mean Subaru has simply thrown on some unique bodywork to the car and left it at that. Instead, changes have been made to the steering, Sachs dampers have been installed and a set of 18-inch wheels make the model stand out.

Only 100 units will be produced, each finished in Cool Grey Khaki, and the car also comes equipped with V-braces and more significant rear suspension mount points to improve the handling.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that powers every other BRZ remains unchanged and therefore still delivers 197 hp.
