Nissan To Skip 2018 Paris Auto Show As It Has Nothing New To Present
Many automakers are choosing not to participate at important automotive shows across the globe, including Geneva, Paris, Frankfurt and Detroit. One of them is Nissan, which will reportedly skip the 2018 Paris Auto Show, AutoActu reports, after speaking to the company’s President for Western Europe, Bernard Loire. Loire made it clear as to why they have taken this decision: “We have nothing new to present. We must also make choices, we were in Geneva and at shows dedicated to digital and new technologies”, said the Nissan official. It’s not a first as, Aston Martin, Bentley, Ford, Lamborghini, Subaru and Volvo were absent from the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Nissan won’t be the only automaker dropping out from this year’s show in France, as Ford, Mazda and Volvo are reportedly taking a leave of absence.
