Tata’s EVision Sedan Concept Previews A Quirky Compact 4-Door

Tata Motors unveiled the EVision sedan concept during this year’s Geneva Motor Show, a vehicle that utilizes the same Omega platform as their previous concept, the H5X crossover.

According to AutoNDTV, the EVision concept is about the same size as a Jaguar XE or a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which would make it a compact sports sedan, even though it doesn’t look particularly sporty or aggressive, despite having a few muscular angles here and there.

Design features include the sculpted doors with flush door handles, large wheels, chrome highlights, slim LED lights front and rear, a panoramic glass roof and a fastback-like rear end.

Inside, there aren’t a lot of buttons to be found on the dashboard, which features a very clean appearance, interrupted only by the occasional LCD display or aluminum air vent. The central infotainment screen is actually retractable, while the gauge cluster is fully digital. Last but not least, there is a third screen that stretches across the entire passenger side – although it’s very narrow.

Most surfaces seem to be covered in either leather or wood, the latter covering the center dashboard, a little bit of the door panels and the lower part of the flat bottom steering wheel.

While technical information remains scarce, rumor has it the EVision can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds and max out at 200 km/h (124 mph).
